Lacey Gasper
Director of Design | Competition Team Manager | Co-Studio Director
Designing has always been a passion for Lacey. Whether she was 5 years old and creating fashion pieces out of her mom’s scrap fabric, or when she was 8 years old designing stationary out of ink and rubber stamps, or when Lacey was 16 and designing title pages in her photo albums.

Lacey holds a BA in Theater as well as Apparel & Design from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN). During her time at Concordia she worked in the front office for the theatre as the bookkeeper and front office manager. She also gave campus tours for prospective students. She also held many House Manager roles, dance captain positions, and performed in numerous productions.

After college, Lacey moved to Los Angeles where she worked as the Assistant Manager for Saeyoung Vu Couture (a designer bridal and formal wear shop). When returning to Fargo, she spent 10 years she as an office manager at a Pierce Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc (currently Pierce Lee Roofing), which has helped her develop not only business skills, but problem solving and managing skills.

In May of 2016, Lacey graduated with a BFA2 in Graphic Design from Academy of Art University (San Francisco, CA) . She emphasized in Identity and Branding. Don’t let this fool you though, her education at AAU has taught her more skills than just branding. Lacey loves finding a way to capture an audience attention from the first design piece to the last. She wants them to have an experience and not just look at a pretty and functional design.

Lacey has been dancing or has had dance in her life for over 18 years. She is trained in jazz, lyrical, hip hop and ballet. Studying at Gasper’s School of Dance, MSUM, and Dancin’ on Broadway (Brooklyn Center, MN).
