EDDIE GASPER TRIBUTE CONCERT

As you may have heard, at the end of August 2015 we lost a beloved part of our studio family and company, Eddie Gasper. Eddie was a founder of Gasper's School of Dance & Peforming Arts, the FMBallet Company, as well as the founder or big contributor to many other organizations in the Fargo-Moorhead Area including Red River Dance & Performing Arts (1978 - 1995), Trollwood Performing Arts (1981-1991), and Minnesota State University, Moorhead (to name a few).

In November 2015, we paid tribute to a man, mentor, teacher, friend, and father with a dance tribute concert in his memory.

There is also a foundation for the arts set up in his memory.

LEGACY: THE EDDIE GASPER DANCE TRIBUTE DVD

Legacy: the Eddie Gasper Dance Tribute will dazzle you with choreography by the late Eddie Gasper (1929 - 2015) and restaged by his son Matthew Gasper and alumni dancer Patrick Kasper. The evening of dance was filled with one-of-a-kind pieces that lit up the stage during Eddie’s career as a choreographer for the Fargo-Moorhead area; as well as a new piece choreographed by Matthew Gasper paying tribute to his father and his signature style. We are excited to share these masterpieces with the Fargo-Moorhead area again and to remember the man who influenced so many during his time working in the community.

Featured performers include Matthew Gasper, Patrick Kasper, Gasper’s School of Dance, FM Ballet Company, and Gasper alumni dancers & students.
