Daicie Mindt
Instructor: Hip Hop, Jazz | Jr. Crew Coach
Daicie began her dance journey at the age of 2, inspired by her mother, a dance teacher at First City Dance in Bemidji, MN. Initially trained in jazz, tap, and ballet, Daicie expanded her repertoire by age 5 to include hip hop and musical theatre. Her move to Dickinson, ND in 2014 marked a significant development in her career, as she joined DFy Company (formerly Burn the Floor), where she discovered her passion for contemporary, hip hop, and modern dance.
Embracing every opportunity to deepen her knowledge, Daicie became a dedicated storyteller through dance, a quality she integrates into her teaching. By age 13, she began assisting with various classes, including hip hop, tap, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and modern. She eventually took on the role of teaching these recreational classes and assisting with choreography for the competitive team.
Daicie taught at her studio until shortly after graduating in 2020. After a brief hiatus due to injuries, she continued to contribute by assisting with choreography and substitute teaching. In 2023, Daicie relocated to Fargo, where she is thrilled to continue her teaching career at Gasper’s School of Dance.
