Instructor: Ballet, Itty Bitty, Lyrical, Pointe
Teah started dancing at the age of three, her first experience was at a Fargo Parks dance camp. In wanting more of a challenge and traditional ballet training, her mom found the Carousel Dance School founded and under the direction of Eddie and Kathy Gasper; which turned into the Gasper’s School of Dance and Performing Arts. Teah has been training with the Gasper’s since age five, training in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz and Lyrical. Her favorite style of dance is Ballet and lyrical, providing her the means to escape and explore the beauty of dance. With the FMBallet company, Teah is in her sixth season, she has performed in numerous performances with Gasper’s School of Dance and FMBallet (Little Prince, Carnival of Animals, Spooky Ballets, Firebird, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, The Classic Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Paquita, Wizard of Oz).
In past summers, Teah has trained at Kansas City Ballet, Joffery Ballet in New York City, and San Jose Ballet (Silicon Valley Ballet). She has been accepted in numerous professional programs throughout the states.
Teah recently took a year off of dance to focus on herself. While she took the year off she competed in 2 bodybuilding competitions. Her first one she got three 1st places and was qualified for nationals. She took the opportunity to compete at nationals and got 3rd place out of 100s of girls while being the youngest in the entire competition.
She is excited to be an instructor at GSD this season and dancing as a principal dancer for the Fargo-Moorhead Ballet.
