Megan is from the small town of Isle, MN with a population of only 751. The arts have always held a special place in her heart. She started playing piano in the first grade, saxophone in fifth grade, joined choir in seventh grade, and has been part of multiple school musicals and plays. Additionally, Megan danced at Music General Dance Studio in Brainerd, MN where she trained in tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and ballet for 13 years. Her favorite style of dance is tap. Being a part of the company line dancers, Megan and her teammates have won multiple regional as well as National titles. Their team tap numbers have been nominated for multiple Industry Dance Awards and even have been selected as the National Industry Dance Award Best Tap in 2016.
Megan is currently going into her second year at Concordia College (Moorhead) as a Junior. She wishes to attain a degree in Political Science with a minor in International Affairs, and hopes to go onto law school upon graduating in May 2021.
